Nautilo Rug
ABACA RUG
An unexpected alternative to the classic round rug, the Nautilo Rug distills one of nature's most iconic forms into a breathtaking floor-level statement. Designed by Charlap Hyman & Herrero for Patterson Flynn, a studio recognized with the 2026 National Design Award for Interior Design by the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. The concentric spiral of the nautilus shell is rendered in silky, malleable abaca fiber, hand-coiled by skilled artisans to accentuate every curve of the shell's iconic form. Bold black linework and accents pop against a natural ground, elevating the nautilus spiral from natural wonder to room-defining work of art.
