Higher Quality than Expected

After Hours is a beautiful charcoal black and did an amazing box with a reduced sheen for a commercial space. Very much pleased with the result.

Seems prefect to me

I’m not completely done with my project yet, but so far I am so happy with the results. I did specifically buy the trim and cabinet paint, hopefully it’ll make a lasting difference. The bookcases were treated with a horrible whitewash and I had no problem painting over it. The company provided tons of tips and everything proved to be helpful. Primer really makes the color stand out, and it’s exactly what I was hoping for.

Really REALLY love this paint!!

We used the Porsche Ruby Star on a raw wood dresser and Jawbreaker on the walls of my toddlers bedroom and both are stunning! Porsche Ruby Star required more coats than expected (5 total) or full coverage on the dresser, but Jawbreaker looked great with one coat on the walls.

Gorgeous color

We were very impressed with the experience overall. Loved the big sticker paint samples, which made it easy to decide on a color. The color we chose - Night on Earth - is stunning. The fumes were a little intense / seemed to last a bit longer than other paint, but it wouldn’t deter me from using Backdrop in the future.

Beautiful quality paper that feels like fabric! Gorgeous color that brings so much character and warmth to my powder room.

LOVELY COLOR!

As a first-time painter I am so glad I chose Backdrop! The paint is super high quality and opaque, making the actually "hard" part very easy and painless with very little mess. The color "lobby scene" is a rich purple/red/brown with such beautiful depth that it made my furniture look way more expensive. 10/10 wish I had more stuff to paint because I'm obsessed with these colors

Silver Lake Dad

Just used Silver Lake Dad, Moonstone and Italian Plaster in my kitchen. The difference is astonishing and absolutely gorgeous. Not quite finished yet, but it's already amazing.

Great color

The color was a near perfect match to the sample. I do wish it came in a flat (their standard is more eggshell), but the color has a nice depth and turned out great. You will 100% need two coats, so purchase accordingly.

I absolutely love the color. I bought a stately old 10 foot wide entertainment center that I am converting to a bookcase for our auditorium. As I wasn't familiar with the brand and the cabinet paint, I decided to begin conservatively and start with the drawers. I love the color. I'm still waiting for cure time to finish completely before I stress test the finish, but preliminary results are good.

the apex predator for landlord paint

the struggle of renting an apartment in an old building is about dealing with the purportedly very important "improvements" made by landlords. these updates generally involve the gross, sticky, thick, high gloss white landlord paint that collects dust like flies in a sugar trap and flakes off if you ever touch it. backdrop paint did an excellent job of covering this gross mess over the 100-year-old original wood trim and doors in my bedroom. its a secure paint that repels dust and even protects the cheap crap underneath from chipping. really elevated the whole room. only two coats and a touch up for a dark red, so you get your money's worth.

Love the Color. Lots of Coats Needed.

I wanted to give my home office a makeover and was searching for a very dark blue. I found this one and couldn't get my mind off it! I was not disappointed with the outcome. Painting it took many coats to achieve the look. My space is really small, maybe 60sq ft and I ended up using almost the whole gallon and used a dark gray primer. If painting a big space, you would need a few gallons.

Amazing color and product!

I love this soft sea-foamy green! It’s exactly what I wanted. Also, it was an amazing paint product. I used the semi gloss version to paint the trim in my kitchen and now I want to paint my entire bathroom this color, too.

Good 1st time experience

It took a few days to arrive, but paint was good and we are happy with the results.

Accent wall

Just built my GarageMahaul and needed a accent color on one wall. The NO CURFEW color is almost a perfect match of the Slate Grey on my classic Porsche so it was a great choice to liven up my new man cave. I'll be hanging some colorful Rennsport framed posters on that wall to make a special statement so the new space will POP!

Great color

We are repainting a house that is nearing 100 years old. The colors were dated and in need of some life. We used Harvest Moon for trim and ceiling and it pops against the Formentera blue.

Beyond Happy

I had contemplated Backdrop for longer than I care to admit and had the samples hung all over the house. I finally placed my order to complement wallpaper in my kitchen and painted small sections of white wall space. I am THRILLED. There was no smell and the paint is truly as pictured. Excellent coverage, truly a 2 coat process and beautiful saturation. Highly recommend.
