LA BELLE features gestural abstract motifs, created from original gouache paintings in the Backdrop studio. Inspired by 20th-century artist Christian Bérard’s lively illustrations, this rotary printed design is full of rich, matte color. The small-scale design has plenty of negative space and creates a jewel box-like effect, perfect to wrap a room or highlight on a focal wall. Each colorway showcases a different effect including black gloss, a metallic ground, and metallic accents.
