Backdrop paint has totally transformed my place and the quality is like no other!! My contractors ran out of this shade and went to get it color matched. Easy to order and fast to arrive. The color is as crisp and graphic as we hoped for - exactly as the stick-on swatch suggested. Noting that it did take four coats to achieve full coverage, which gave us pause until the end result: worth it.

Gorgeous Color

After much agonising, bought Color of the Year. It is perfectly gorgeous. The color is rich and saturated without being overpowering. It fairly glows. Couldn’t be happier with this for my mid-century modern living room. Also bought the Essentials kit and extender. So worth it-high quality materials and so convenient.

Best paint ever and no other colors like it!

My husband passed a few weeks ago, and i needed a new uplifting “fun” art room. First purchase was Backdrop paint-i hope to be able to start some projects soon-in my new room. Last year we remodeled, and I used a lot of Backdrop paint in the house. As a designer, i love the colors (and the color names!). I could only find Porsche Riviera Blue from Backdrop! It is very fluid and cover extremely well. My painters were very impressed with the paint!

Perfection

I’ve used Backdrop for years because their colors are so unique and honestly picking a color out of a giant grid is way too overwhelming for me. I love jewel tones and I tend to gravitate to the dark, rich colors. I painted Self Portrait in my bathroom because that’s a big selfie location! The color is exactly what I wanted and was represented on the site perfectly. I painted my bedroom McQueen in 2 different apartments now because I love it so much! I have a hard time using any other brand because the colors are beautiful, the clean up is easy, and the packaging is eco friendly.

I was truly at the end of my rope from the madness of the hardware store swatches, a labyrinth of endless options and no real life examples. After discovering Backdrop, I was simultaneously conflicted that I couldn’t have all colors and comforted that there was hardly a wrong choice. About Rose Quartz: It is peach cobbler and a Christmas ham. It's a baby's bottom. It’s a brand new, genuine leather cowboy hat. It is In-N-Out fries with a strawberry vanilla milkshake. It is 10 colors at once, each with such depth and intrigue while sharing a lively playfulness. I've never been into girly pink, but this one is so soft and warm; behind a warm lamp, it can even present as orange dreamsicle. I couldn't be happier with the shopping experience, color choice, fast shipping, eco-friendly packaging. Add the playlists, poetry and pure pathos of each color and I'm a devout Backdrop follower. I shall never enter a horrible paint store again in my life!

We received our paint order and I have to say the whole experience has so far been perfect. The communication was good, updates on delivery keep us informed. Once we started painting, the quality of the paint was excellent, covering our walls much easier than expected, so much so we actually ordered to much paint and will be submitting a return. We will see how the return process goes and submit a new review after that process is complete.

Excellent quality paint & supplies

Backdrop offers lovely paint colors. Their site is easy to use. They've put together playlists for each of their paint colors which is so fun. The supplies they put together are also so helpful. The canvas drop cloth I ordered was great to cover some furniture items I has in the room while I was painting. The paint & other supplies I ordered arrived as promised & I was kept in the loop with helpful emails along the way. I highly recommend Backdrop for your next painting project.
